  1. Butters' Very Own Episode

    KoRns Groovy Murder Mystery

    Hooked On Monkey Phonics

    Pip

Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants

And Simpsons Already Did It is a pretty gash one.

How you can say fun with weapons is crap is just BEYOND me... it's ace... especially the song

    "Rets Fighting Ruve"

    no way

'Simpsons did it' is a great one

    - not because of that part of the story

for the whole Sea People thing

    genius.

my favourite South Park Episode is either

    - the one with Radio Head (when cartman makes scott eat his parents..)

or the child abduction one 'You damn Mongolians! Stop knocking down my Sh-ity Waa! '

or maybe another one... i forget..

  2. Are girl said no really worth all the hype they get' date=' or is it just another starfall thing with far too much exposure? If they're as good as they're supposed to be, i might have to [finally'] check 'em out.

    dunno

last time i saw them they were still thelongfirm

    but

i do know that they are very tight

    it's fairly soft rock tho

so if you like that kinda thing

    then you'll love them

  3. ahh... another thread that's lost it's way

    it started off well

    comments were made

    little reviews and suchlike

    and then *pow*

    it all went wrong

    shame.

so... um... steering it back in the other direction

I listened to the track yesterday on my dodgy laptop speakers

enjoyed the heavyness and the drumming especially

but i'll have to listen to it on something better to full appreciate everything

cos the speakers on my laptop could make an angel sound like craig david...

so it's not the best thing to use

    anyway

keep up the good work MMW

and the rest of you guys

    calm down

    shhhhh...

  4. there's rubbish awards ceremonies... and then there's the brits

    what a bunch of shite

i also hope Muse win everything

some of the nominations are just bizzare tho

and the fact that the same 5 bands have been nominated for everything just shows once again how blind the mainstream music industry are to good music...

    all well

    nevermind

  6. Glasgow blows. I have a bad time every time I go there' date=' and don't start having a good time til I get back to Edinburgh.

I'm serious, every time I go there it just pans out bad and I wanna go home, whether it be going to see a gig, playing a gig (always balls), or visiting mates.

    Boycott Glasgow![/quote']

    hooorar!

    :swearing:

    maybe you're right...

  7. i think gridlocks point is that it's too obvious' date=' it doesn't have anything to do with when it was made. i don't see what the obviousness of music or the mainstream values that it has have to do with whether or not it has merit as life changing music(hmm, not sure if that sentence works but i'm gonna run with it anyway). if it changes your life it changes your life, it doesn't matter if it's nirvana or philip jeck.

my philosophy has always been that even if it starts with shit it can lead onto gold. someone could get into a band who are considered mainstream but they could hear a little bit of something more interesting in it and seek out that sound leading them onto ever more interesting paths of music that push more and more boundaries. but did the end product change their life or was it the original artist that they heard that sound in?[/quote']

    i always agree with Dave.

all of the albums in my list were chosen because when i bought them i was really excited about listening to them because it was something new to my ears... and after i heard a sound that i liked.. i found more bands that were doing similar things... and then i found another sound that i liked.. so i got that bands album... and then i found other bands like them.. and got their stuff.. and so on..

    - i also missed out Mad Capsule Markets - OSC/DIS and Tool - Aenima

it's wot i like and i'm sticking by it!

  8. i know they exist...

but they never reply to any of my e-mails...

sometimes i talk to them on the phone...

but they never get back to me about anything..

    its very annoying

i thought it would be harder finding something in Edinburgh

but it was easy as pie

does anyone know any good, reliable promoters - or bands who organise gigs for other bands... or anything ? ?

    :band:

    teather.coming.end.of.to

  9. Frankly he's fucked on the cannabis charge anyway

    true. :gringo:

the only thing that gets me is the fact that if he wasnt a fan of Marilyn Manson then they wouldn't have mentioned anything about his lifestyle at all

what if his favourite band was coldplay

or maybe he was well into his drum n bass... would that make him less of a psycho killer?

there are probably tens of thousands of people who have seen the same art work and watched the same films and listened to the same music as that kid

but they haven't rushed out and killed anyone

    which is good..

someone who has the capability of doing something like has serious mental issues...

the music and the lifestyle would have an influence.. sure it would.. you are who you are and suchlike... but it wouldnt drive you to it..

  10. Firstly' date=' I didn't say he sucked... or that I hate him... I simply said that his avatar is lame... not meaning him, just the avatar... so erm... what point are you trying to make?

PS: untitled: You're lame... Ryan Adams is a hotty :p heh[/quote']

i didnt say that you said that he sucked

i was pointing out the pointlessness of saying 'no offense' after a statement that is offensive...

  11. Queen - Queen / Day at the Races / Jazz / Innuendo (and most of their other albums)

    Green Day - Dookie

    Offspring - Smash

    Korn - Follow the Leader

    Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe

    Slipknot - Slipknot

Less than Jake - Hello Rockview

    Deftones - Around the Fur

    Rammstein - Mutter

Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia

    Thrice - Illusion of Safety

    Boysetsfire - Tomorrow Come Today

i could probably go on all day.. but those are the main ones that i can think of...

    oh yeah

    and

NOFX - The Decline (its not an album... but it's a pretty long song! and i love it so)

    Earthtone 9 - Arc'tan'gent

    :woohoo:

  12. Metal... and a bit shit...

    Nay offence :p

    why do people say that?

'Hey you! Yeah you! YOOOOUU SUCK! erm.. no offense like...'

'Hey you! Yeah you! I hate you with every inch of my soul! but like... no offense'

it's kinda like in soap opera's when they have a big fight

then 2 seconds after they go... 'i'm sorry.. i didnt mean that.. i'm just upset'

    my point being...

if you're gonna be mean and nasty

    be mean and nasty

don't be mean and nasty... then pretend like you don't mean it
