Bit of a lame decision from Schwarzer. He knows that he's not going to play the majority of matches unless Cech gets injured. I know there's the attraction of making more money before he's forced to retire but he could surely still get first team football at a biggish club that would hardly be paying him peanuts.

New Barca home kit is cool, everyone knows the kit should always have those stripes. There's no need for big chunky stripes or stripes that merge into each other or any other shit. I think they deliberately have terrible kits some years so the good ones look better in comparison. Not sold on the away one. The idea to use the colours of the catalan flag is so obvious that it's a surprise they've never done it before. I think the reason is that yellow is just a crap football colour. Saying that when I've seen people out and about in it, it looks a little better than it does in the picture and not nearly as bad as some of the away / 3rd kits of recent years. There's nothing to say about the Liverpool one, just laugh.

ESPN 30 for 30: The Two Escobars - Really fantastic documentary which looks at the links between drug cartels and football in Columbia in the 80s and 90s by focussing on the stories of Pablo Escobar and Andres Escobar the captain of the national team who was killed after the 94 world cup. I'd always known about the killing of Andres Escobar but never really knew the full story behind it. Incredibly interesting and this film is made very well. I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

That is a great idea. Who likes old people? Nobody. Now if only they can work on keeping them indoors in the warmer months too.

I remember Solaris being alright. Just watched Spring Breakers. Thought it was brilliant. It's ridiculous and far from subtle but still managed to be meaningful. The dialogue being repeated and used as part of the score worked well for me although I can see why it has been criticised by some. Definitely worth seeing.

I wouldn't trust a single word out of Armstrong's mouth to be honest. Neither would I put much faith in any reports on goal.com. Having said that, the idea isn't completely unbelievable.
