This isn't the first tournament this system for separating teams level on points has been used, is it? I though it had been this way for at least a couple of tournaments. I've been a bit surprised by all the fuss. It doesn't seem to bad to me.

So the Sonar weekend was completely awesome. An incredible amount of fun. And there was one moment which made me think of ab-music. During the day on section on Saturday, a couple of friends and I wandered over to a stage where I DJ none of us knew was playing. We got into as he was playing some really good stuff but then started genre hopping like mad and then at one point he went into a mini classic chart RnB phase. He played Destiny's child - say my name, whistney houston - it's not right but it's okay and then THE THONG SONG! I danced extra hard.

Not being able to go to cool stuff because of work. Richie Hawtin is going to be DJing at a fruit and veg market for 3 hrs from 5 this afternoon. Today I'm only working from 5.15 to 8.30, fuck sake. He'll be at Sonar tomorrow night but something about it being out in the sunshine surrounded by oranges and mangoes really appeals to me.

Ace-ic - drinking and catching up with mates you haven't seen in ages. Not ace-ic - waking up and wondering where all my money has gone.

Come here!! Well not actually here, the city beaches are a bit shit but not far out the city they are lovely. Go somewhere on the costa brava and you have the option of coming into the city on a day trip if you want away from the beach.

Festival chat eh? I'm about to start annoying Jake again then. Sonar is this weekend and I'm very excited. Going to a club to see Jackmaster, Joy O and Levon Vincent on Thursday night then the main sonar events firday and saturday and possibly a minus records beach party on sunday. Most looking forward to The Roots, Richie Hawtin, xxxy, Blawan, Maya Jane Coles, Nina Kraviz and Flying Lotus I've got some good friends visiting for it too. Very very ace-ic all round.

Bloc Party albums have been shit since the end of the first one! I dunno if 212 will even be on the azealia album since it was just on the 1991 EP. Actually scratch that, of course it will. There'll probably be 3 versions of it.

I bet a tenner on it having a few great tunes but overall being a 6 out of ten that leaves you a little disappointed.

Supposed to be out in the autumn I think. There's a mixtape due out before it.
