It would be outrageous for anyone to sack Wenger unless they were going to go all out and get a top class coach and give them a shitload of spending money. Even then hopefully the situation would be managed so it looks like Wenger is stepping aside rather than being punted.

Wenger has been restricted in the transfer market and has done well with some signings. However in other cases he has sometimes seemed oblivious to what's been needed and sometimes he can be bizarrely persistent with a player. I do get the feeling his time is coming to an end at the club. I think he desperately want to win something before going so he doesn't leave with the trophy drought ongoing. But honestly I'm not sure I can see it happening.

I only know Tim and Let It Be from the Replacements. I don't believe their other albums can be as good because that would make me a fool for never having hear them.

Martinez seems completely naive when it comes to defensive organisation. Hughes is good I think. He was getting too cocky for a bit though.

Steve Bruce's tactical ability is one of the worst of all the premiership coaches of the last few years. He just didn't have a clue. With very talented young coaches like Lambert and Rodgers breaking into the league there very shortly wont be room for these purely motivating coaches.

With a new album I'll give it a lot of plays, maybe every day for quite a while but I still wont likely listen to it twice in a row. I'll go from it to something else and then back again. Whereas with the examples given in the opening post I'll get stuck on them for a while without any other group interrupting.

I never laugh at wrestling references. Probably because they tend to be about the rock and not Doink the Clown. Or Paul Bearer.

Anything which is influenced my music other than non traditional UK/US forms is pish? I'm not exactly into much "world" music myself but artists like say Asian Dub Foundation or M.I.A who mix traditionally popular styles with more niche genres can be pretty great. I think Buraka... fit in well with that group.

Steve Bruce should never manage in the premiership again, just not good enough. Arshavin shouldn't have been brought on though.

There are some bands that I may not listen to very frequently but when I do am guaranteed to listen to most of their discography many times over the week that follows. The classic one for me is Sonic Youth. I can not listen to them for a few months and then get the urge to put on one of their albums, after that one listen I always go on to one of their others and then another and for a short while it's as if no other band exists. Another one which has been the inspiration for this thread is spoon. I put on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga earlier and since I've listened to Gimme Fiction and now I'm on Girls Can Tell. The next album I listen to will almost certainly by Kill the Moonlight. Yo La Tengo and British Sea Power are another couple of bands I have this kind of relationship with. Who are yours?

It's a pop music website. I don't actually particularly like the site, in general I prefer the forum rather than the main site but I think the above piece is pretty much on the money. Some of the LDR chatter on indie blogs and websites is just awful. She's become one of those cases of an artist for who people who dislike her talk about her 10 times more than makes any sense.

I didn't think there was intent at first, I can understand the ref not giving anything but the replays do make it look bad for Balotelli. He could say that he doesn't look down at Parker at all but the leg movement does seem completely unnatural even if he was flailing about at the time.
