I spent 3 months there. I would want to live there forever or anything but I could certainly have done a year or two. Slightly depending on which part I suppose. If I had the money I think a big US road trip would be my choice. Something closer to home, Slovenia is a really great country and I've heard great things about Croatia, Bulgaria etc so that region is worth considering too.

Lipton is just awful and doesn't make sense. It's prevalent all over the world in countries where they don't know about tea. They must have a great marketing department which fools all these ignorant folk. In Ghana people always wanted to give me tea because I'm British and have to drink tea but it was always a lipton teabag plonked in a cup of mildly hot water. Fuck Off.

To make it worse tickets are pretty cheap too. Only 15 euros. Gigs can be quite pricey here, Arctic Monkeys this month is 40!

Good gigs being on weeknights when I'm working. While walking to the supermarket I got all excited seeing a poster advertising GZA playing Liquid Swords in full in a couple of weeks. Then I noticed it's on a wednesday and there's no way I can make it. In general I like working late, it suits my morning laziness but things like this make it suck.

I really liked The Mars Volta when they started and listened to their debut loads. I doubt I could sit through half of it now though. They were awful live too. Saw them at Reading once, played one song and then fucked around improvising for the rest of the set. I don't think I ever listened to an At The Drive In album. One Armed Scissor is a pretty good song for that kind of thing though.
