The best qualifications for a new teacher are the Cambridge CELTA and the Trinity College cert.TESOL. They are recognised all over the world and many jobs will have that as a minimum requirement. Depending on which country you plan on working in you can find places which will accept other qualifications, or in some cases people might get given jobs for no more than being a native speaker. I have a friend who moved to Spain and did the TESOL course even though he already had years of experience teaching in Korea because it would have been hard to find a job here without that qualification. Generally I'd say avoid the courses which are mostly on-line. They are obviously much cheaper but I just really don't see the point. In the course I did I was teaching a class of really students from the second day and for most days of the course. There really isn't anything better than time in the classroom for learning as a teacher.

I was gutted for Mexico last night, they played really well and were so close to making it past the round of 16 for the first time. They have great fans too. Pleased for Costa Rica even though they didn't look like the side which beat Uruguay and Italy, perhaps that group was actually just really shit? Yes, indeed.

I feel gutted for Mexico, they were by far the better side but lacked a bit of quality in the final third to really take advantage of their superiority. With this and Brazil winning the knock out rounds are not going well so far.

I thought it was good, not great. It obviously ticks the boxes if you're a Wes Anderson fan but that's all really for me, one of his weaker efforts.

This is true although i think he was actually pretty good against Iran but it was of little use as so many of his team mates were off form. Anyway I think he should get a break because he had some great performances last world cup which were overlooked just because he didn't score.

Unfortunately I've only been able to see highlights of Colombia so far. Rodriguez looks good though. Neymar and Messi are two obvious ones as they've had standout moments that have been very important for their teams. Robben has been great for Holland.

Agreed with everything you said about Fargo, Chris. (well not the wolf stuff, I didn't think about that at all). It definitely should be left at just one season but the show has opened up the possibility of more adaptations of this style. Setting a new story in an environment created for a film. I think some other coen bros' films would be great.
