I hate that people who own a Blackberry or an iphone are seemingly unable just to use the word phone these days. My blackberry this, my iphone that. Other people don't describe their phones using the brand name. Also James Blunt is a total knob end. This may be old news to everyone but that doesn't stop it being true. There was a text about his typical daily routine in one of the textbooks I'm using in class just now. I don't know why but the fact that he doesn't eat breakfast, doesn't own a tv or ever cook for himself made me super pissed off, probably because there was a picture of his face.

Good start to the new season. Speaking of new seasons, the first 2 episodes of the new Curb have been great. Andrew, have you watched Deadwood before? I'm about to start the second season. It's right up there with HBO's best dramas. Of course if you haven't yet watched the wire you should watch that it's the greatest thing.....blah blah

I'm quietly optimistic that we've made some good signings. They all seem to have experience at a decent level and are at ages where they should still have some of their best football in them. However last August I left Pittodrie after seeing us beat Hamilton 4-0 and I was pretty certain we would win the league..... I'm going to be in Aberdeen for a few weeks next month. I'm looking forward to getting to a couple of games.
