Don't bother with the Ladykillers. It's their worst by far. I worried for them at that point but thankfully everything since then has been great.

Now Carey was great in eternal sunshine but he didn't elevate it. It is a great film due to everything that was involved.

I haven't but I'll check it out. My favourites of his are Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Moon.

Um, wowsers. So lots of weird stuff, leaving leaving lots of unanswered questions. Overall I think it's been a great start to the series, with Moffat taking the show even further in his own direction away from the RTD era. That said I'm quite disappointed it looks like we've got one of those sillier episodes next week which will have almost nothing to do with what we've just seen. Almost every moment in that orphanage was bloody creepy.

I'd definitely always go and see a new Coen Brothers film. Charlie Kaufmann and Wes Anderson also both have such a good track record that I'd check out anything new they do. An actor I like being in a film doesn't necessarily mean I'll make a big effort to see a film but I probably will get around to seeing it eventually. Many of my favourites have already been mentioned in this thread, I'll add Sam Rockwell.

There are people that actually use that term? In all seriousness? I'm happy to be called British or Scottish. But I find myself saying Scotland more often than Britain when asked where I'm from. I think that's partly because I think people assume I'm from England if I say Britain.

Those Dubes must be pretty great. I'm going to get one. Tomorrow morning I'm playing a game of football for the first time in absolutely ages. It's going to be a team of Brits vs Catalans. The Catalans have experience playing together before, us Brits don't. They'll also most likely be more skillful and in better shape than us. We're going to have to make them uncomfortable using out physical prowess, play with heart and never say die etc etc. It's pretty much a preview of the champions league final. I have no idea why this match has to be at 10am on a Sunday. In preparation I haven't been drinking today and I'm staying in tonight. I'm not sure the pizza, big bag of crisps and bar of chocolate is going to help though. I feel ready to burst.

Having to wait for the new episode of Doctor Who to find it's way online before I can watch it. I want to open that thread so much.

That's not how a tv drama show would portray it. I'm picturing will in something like the break room in London's Burning where boxer George was always just tucking into a fry up when the alarm would ring.
