The fans might get on his back, but the Stamford Bridge crowd are hardly renowned for making much noise, Torres will hardly be able to work out what they're grumbling about. I think he'l have more of an issue with the media who are ready to tear him to bits. He's played one match and he's already been called the new Chris Sutton! Even Sheva didn't get that sort of treatment. Let's hope Torres doesn't do a Sutton and end up at Celtic. He could have a broken leg and still take the piss out of current CPL defences.

As said before a big part of Torres' injury problem was that he was never allowed to fully recover. If he's looked after better he'll hopefully suffer less injuries. Or maybe he'll be the most expensive Darren Anderton ever.

Are gigs in Aberdeen really only 3 these days? That price has been mentioned a lot in this thread. When I was last going to gigs in Aberdeen you'd be lucky to find any as cheap as a fiver, most being more than that. I'm not saying it would make it better to blag someone in for free. Just wondering where all this 3 quid talk is coming from.

Over the last year or so Torres has often played when not fully fit under pressure by managers, which only makes his injury problems worse and sure this season he has looked disinterested at times but he was playing for a club he wanted leave and was in a complete mess. Now that obviously isn't the best attitude for a player to have but there's no reason to say this attitude will continue now he has managed to leave. Last season he scored 18 goals in 22 games in the league for a team that was falling to pieces and even this season he scored 9 in 23 when as said he spent most of those games moping around. I have some vague memories of something but since I was a much more casual and infrequent user of the board back then I can't really remember or be sure.

All the press writing off Torres after one match is ridiculous and well over the top. A week ago they were talking about how the real Torres was back. It's not even as though his recent record for Liverpool is that bad either. Maybe it wont work out for him at Chelsea but it's far more likely that he will.

Footytube.com is another option for catching up on highlights. Usually has good videos up the day following a match.

Surprisingly the new The Go! Team album is very good and is probably their best one. The debut is a very record but I always expected them to be a bit of a one album wonder and after their second album was mostly just a poorer version I was sure of it. I thought it would be a case of diminishing returns with every album. Somehow without changing much they've managed to make the new album sound fresh and be more consistent than either of the first two.

Oh yeah, good call on that one.

Don't have many live music dvd's. My favourites are Stop Making Sense (Talking Heads) and Mystery White Boy (Jeff Buckley). I imagine if you like these artists you've likely seen them already, but if not they're well worth a watch. If you like Radiohead this guy on youtube has a huge number of full concert videos in very high quality. YouTube - AustinBrock's Channel The Glastonbury '03 show is really great.

Liverpool fans will always find a way to make them look the worst.
