  1. Aberdeen were shit, Chelsea were pretty shit too. Thankfully Barca pulled out a great half performance to save my day.
  2. I'm pretty sure you're right, the packaging is almost identical. I've seen lays in a few different countries but walkers only ever in the uk. A quick wiki search has just confirmed that it is the same. They are lays everywhere except the UK. I never knew Spain had such a great crisp reputation. People here seem more proud of chupa chup lollypops being Spanish.
  3. Man U The hilarity of the VDS howler is maximised by it being the decisive moment of the game!
  4. He got a knock at the end of the first half and I guess it was still giving him some trouble in the second so Langfield replaced him.
  5. My god Aberdeen are shit. Aluko's run in the first half has been the only highlight for us so far. But wait the Dazzler's about to come! Let's Go! After last weekend, one game at a time just isn't enough so I'm streaming Man U WBA at the same time and keeping an eye on it. I think Utd might be trying to challenge Liverpool on the laugh count. Van Der Sar has just made a howler of a mistake. 2-0 to 2-2 within 10 mins of the restart. Great game now.
  6. Well, um, Emile Heskey is as good as Didier Drogba, says Grard Houllier | Football | The Guardian o_O
  7. I fully expect bebo to try and score from his own half again today. I bet he thinks he is the king of football after last Friday.
  8. I'd agree with you on that. A win would be a great boost today. We can't let this winless streak continue.
  9. I hope one day I can forget that I ever watched that.
  10. Nah there are two teams in Dundee, if the go out of business they can just support United.
  11. Listen to the first single from their next album here Pitchfork: Deerhoof Sign to Polyvinyl for New Album
  12. That the worst thing about these situations. There'll always be some people that are getting what they deserve, but you've got to feel sorry for the folk who have just been plodding away doing their job without a fuss and suddenly find themselves out of work.
  13. Eating a big bag a jamon Ruffles, these a are excellent crisps. Lucky Rathen, I'll try the lays another day.
  14. I just went down to the shop next door to get some bread and they appear to be short of crisps at the moment. No lays at all and only original ruffles. That's so rubbish I would stop going there if it wasn't next door. I now have my heart set on some crisps and I'll get some on the way to work later.
  15. I'm not a huge fan but Ray Winstone is no way as horrible a creature as Danny Dyer. No one should lump them in the same category. His typecast role does get a bit too much at times but he's shown that he is a decent actor and I can think of at least a couple of films he was in I liked.
  16. I will buy a pack today and report back later. I'm sure the board will be on tenterhooks awaiting my review.
  17. Going to court was going too far and I'm not going to shed any tears over a few Rangers fans but in this kind of situation fans with tickets to the original game should be able to go to the rearranged fixture with the same ticket. It's just the decent thing to do. Sometime in the 90's a dons game against Killie was called off due to a floodlight failure and for the replay not only were all fans with original tickets let in free but all remaining seats were given away on a first come first served basis too. Great atmosphere at that game and Joe Miller scored a hat-trick!! Dean Windass' first goal too if I remember right. Anyone else go to that match? Thinking of that, floodlight failures don't seem to happen any more do they? It used to be that even big teams would occasionally suffer from having bought a dodgy set of bulbs. After the horror of last weekend I'm looking forward to watching a lot of footie tomorrow. The dons v hearts is one of the game bet365 are streaming tomorrow so I'll get to see it in decent quality which is nice (or maybe it wont be), Chelsea - Villa could be a good game, I could see Chelsea slipping up, and Barca - Valencia in the evening could be a cracker.
  18. I've seen them in shops, but I've never tasted them myself. Am I missing out on something?
  19. A good cooked breakfast is what I look forward to most any time I go back to Scotland. British food is ace and the rest of the world should learn this.
  20. Argentina put 4 past them last month. But Argentina also have some players a little better than Scotland.
  21. Whatever joke you're making is going a bit of my head at the moment I'm afraid. Anyway since I have never seen Glee, or the current series of X-Factor (ok, I actually watched the first episode) and I was always more Busted than McFly that site doesn't hold much interest for me. However if I later look back on this day as the point I fell in love with the music of Adele, I'll forever be in your debt. Interesting to look back on the albums I had recently bought in March 2005. Tank is a weak album by ADF's standards, I've lost almost all interest in Rilo Kiley and I've yet to understand why Slint are so revered but all those other albums are classics I'd hold in high regard.
  22. It's not really bad just distinctly average. I love 'Funeral' and like 'Neon Bible' a lot too so I hoped for more. There are some good songs, I think the first couple of tracks are great, but there are few awful ones and a lot of mediocre stuff I just have no desire ever to listen to.
  23. Nah, you'll see those given 7 or 8 times out of ten. And teams are lucky when they do get away with it. His arms were stretched out and his arm blocked a cross from going into the centre of the box. Clear penalty.
