  1. Thought i'd bring this thread back. This series has been unbelievable, definitely my favourite so far. The last two episodes have been really great.
  2. Funeral was definitely my favourite album of last year. After hearing all the hype after it's US release I bought it as soon as it came out here. It's brilliant all the way through. They were absolutely amazing at Reading last year. Hopefully we could get a new album this year.
  3. You have some good ideas, but you wil lhave a tough fight. THe guy you're running against is giving out free Lolly Pops today. THat's hard to beat.
  4. 136 Your mind's strengths allow you to think ahead of the game -- to imagine or anticipate what should happen next in just about any situation. Because you're equally skilled in the numerical and verbal universes of the brain, you can draw from multiple sources of information to come up with new ideas and this makes you a Visionary Philosopher. You also have a knack for matching and anticipating patterns in all sorts of situations, a talent that adds to your visionary philosopher mind. For an I.Q test this wasn't too hard though, from a couple I've done before my scorewould usually be a littel lower.
  5. I've never been Carmine's sounds good. I don't think Little Italy is that great.
  6. After the thread with the Shins video on You tube, I thought it would be cool for people to share their favourite musical finds. I'll start with a couple i've enjoyed today. Almost 40 mins of the white stripes performing and being interviewed for a radio station http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2_yziRNIac&search=White%20Stripes%20live Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood performing 'How to Disappear Completely' with just Guitar and Ondes Martenot. A brilliant version of this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI7AaM4SROI&search=radiohead Sonic Youth and Iggy Pop playing I Wanna be your dog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdLZm19zA5Q&search=sonic%20youth
  7. MSN Music Discussion or the Wasteland
  8. I agree with Betamax about the yeah yeah yeah's, the new album is quite dissapointing. It's not bad but it lacks almost everything that made fever to tell so great.
  9. I've only really given it a couple of listens so far, I think it starts off well but becomes a bit average as it goes on.
  10. Lineker did seem a little nervous but he was doing a good enough job. I always liked Steve Rider hosting their golf coverage though, he seemed to do it so muc hbetter than when he presented other sports.
  11. O'Neils is really good, probably my favourite club in Aberdeen. The only problem with it is that the set lists become a bit repetitive but if you don't go all the time it's good.
  12. Just now it would be Vocals - Bjork Guitar - Jonny Greenwood & Thurston Moore Bass - Paul McCartney Drums - Phil Selway
  13. I listened to the album on their website today. Great stuff. I'll be buying it when i can and I can't wait to see them when they come back to Aberdeen.
  14. Very rough estimations... On the move - 60% Home - 20% Uni - 15% Gigs / Clubs - 10%
  15. Flaming Lips - At War With the Mystics Yeah Yeah Yeah's - Show Your Bones Ciccone Youth - Whitey Album: Remastered and Expanded Thurston Moore - Psychic Hearts: Remastered and Expanded Sonic Youth - Sonic Youth: Remastered and Expanded Sonic Youth - NYC Ghosts + Flowers Sonic Youth - Hold that Tiger (Live) (Import)
  16. I find it strange how they were affected so badly by the temperature drop comapred to other cars which had the same tyres.
  17. I heard that Billy West was actually just confused or completely wring and it's not coming back at all.
  18. The only time he went into the pits under the safety car was when he had to queue behind Raikkonen wasn't it?
  19. despite expecting it to be total crap, I will still liekly watch this more than once in hte cinema and buy it on dvd. Our only hope is that the makers realise what has gone wrong over the past 8 seasons, but from what Matt Groening has been saying he still thinks the show is as fresh and relavent as ever. How many guest stars do you think they will be able to fit in a film?
  20. No one has said they should be able to cope in the SPL, they have at least over a year before they would ever have to. They will still need to strengthen if they want to compete in the first division next year.
