  1. I finish my year long uni placement at the end of july, then i'm going on holiday in europe (germany, austria, slovenia and italy to be more accurate) for 3 weeks, then back home for about a day, then go to reading, get back hte day before my 21st birthday, then have a rest and try and find a part time job before going back to uni.
  2. yeah it was, although apart from the season it went down to the last game, i'm not sure it was ever that close.
  3. more that one player may have done this, but which player once scored three direct free kicks in one game.
  4. this is quite easy, which team finished runner up most times in the nine seasons that rangers won their nine in a row.
  5. Did Ljunberg score a hat-trick? I thought that lua lua got a hatrick for pompey once.
  6. Music can influence the listeners of the music, i know it's slightly different but if you look at the amount of people who claim to have turned vegetarian after hearing meat is murder by the smiths you can see that music can make a difference.
  7. oops, i completely forgot about his hilarious spell at blackburn, where the yorke and cole partenrship was exposed as just being shite. His Rap career was more memorable. I never knew about arsenal though.
  8. the full article - what a wank http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/acrobat/2005-06/18118271.pdf

  10. i rememebr when anna first broke through and she was actually good, got to the wimbledon quarter finals at the age of sixteen or something, the nshe just turned crap and you only got to see her for one or two matches a tournament
  11. Tim looks like he could be heading for an embarrassing first round defeat. currently 2 sets down.
  12. You knwo you don't have to go to prison to get your preffered choice of cereal!
  13. BAck on to tennis Andrew Murray won his opening round in straight sets today, if he wins his next round whihc is likely to be against a seeded opponent, then the hype machine will go into overdrive. Also maria sharapova won her match today in straight sets.
  14. I miss richard and judy every day becasue of work . The bill clinton interview was one of my favourites. He is truly a great man.
  15. I ahve to agree with charlotte about henman, the press coverage he gets can be tiresome and annoying and sometimes i dislike how he comes across hinself as wel, but he is actually a very good tennis player. If everyone of his level or worse quit, then we'd have very few tennis players. The point of the major cahmpionships like wimbledon is that they are won by truly outstanding players and won many times by the true greats of the game. Not winning does not automatically make you a bad player. I am sure he will never win wimbledon, his best years are behind him, unfortunately for him old pistol pete was still around when he had some of his best chances. With federer here now tim doesn't really have chance.
  16. the first of the kaisers five dates is about 20 days after live 8 though. but i suppose they may be doing a lot of press in hte lead up to the tour.
  17. I'll be there, Dive Dive were great when htey supported reuben.

  19. I really don't see the point in becomming a supporter. I'm not goign to start paying money to every website i visit. They're not worth it.
  20. Two Albums which are quite similar Flaming lips - The soft Bulletin VS Grandaddy - Sophtware Slump Two albums i've been listening to recently Radiohead - Kid A VS Sonic Youth - Murray Street
  21. Make Believe is an absolutely horrible album, it so unbelievably bad, i can't believe that weezer made it. The Green album and Maladroit while not being nearly as good and blue and pinkerton are not as bad as some say. Maladroit especially has some very good songs on it. Make believe is just bad. Worst album of the year. I would have liked to have seen them though. and the girls form the sunways is hot. and they're not that bad.
