What makes "our" people more deserving of help? We're all human theres no difference. Personally I'd like to help the most in need first, the millions suffering from aids/ poverty/ drought/ famine in afirca would be right at the top of that list. (imo)

after a few more listens, it has grown on me and i really like it, but there are stil la couple of tracks i find a bit weak.

I usually drink lager, preffered choices being Heinneken Stella Carling Extra Cold Carlsberg when i'm out with certain people i will sometimes start drinking gin and tonics, and occaisionally i will drink jack daniels and coke.

so what is everyone's thoughts on the latest effort from the white stripes. I've only had time to listen to it once so far, but i was a little dissapointed, not many instantly enjoyable songs, but it may grow on me. Still I dont expect it to come close to topping de stijl.

Yeah i think Evol to Dirty is their best period, five great albums in a row, but i also think the two newest albums are up there in terms of quality and you never know they could have just started another great period.

1000 leaves is one of the few i dont have, experimental jetset.. has never bee none of my favourites, my top 3 just now would probaly be Daydream nation, murray street and evol. But as oyu say, they're all ace.

I've really been getting into this album over the past week, i always thought it was good but now it's probably in my top 3 SY albums, it's brilliant. What does everyone else think of it and how do htey rate it against other SY albums.

I was very dissapointed to miss htem when they played glasgow, htey're the band i'm most looking forward to seeing at reading.

From what i heard on the news, America is actually proposing a different plan for debt relief to the UK, not opposing it all together. Some aid groups have actually said they prefer bush's plan.
