He toured earlier this year playing IWAIM songs, they played the Glasgow University Union in March I think. It was a great gig, Rilo Kiley played too.

The Faint, another band added which makes me want to go. I take it the faint are backing bright eyes then it will be digital ash... stuff they're playing then.

I can't remember the last time i enjoyed a gig in aberdeen that much. Good to see le reno amps back and as good as ever. Alamos and Luxury Car were great. I only saw the last song and a half of new rosy jewels but i liked what i heard.

Really? That is a bit of a scam isn't it. I wont be too bothered if that money was actually going to help the cause as well though, but how much will be going to the telephone companies?

I didn't watch it last night, but i mus have seen it 4 or 5 times before, probaly all on channel 5.

But that isn't the point of these concerts, they're not asking for money, the concerts are even going to be free. The point is to bring attention to a cause and to help people attempt to influence world leaders ahead of them meeting each other.

I agree that the ambiguity of that rating ccould lead to problems (PG is no more clear though is it), but the way star wars is marketed in some ways they are very much targetting it at kids.

For what age of childeren would the curfew be for. I can't really think of any problems with really young kids in cinema's. Also usually if there are lots of kids there it's because i've went to see a kids film (which really star wars is). If people are being annoying in a cinema audience, I find it far more likely that it will be groups of say 14-16 year olds, usually laughing incessantly themselves for throwing popcorn or something. Can we really ban 16 year olds from going to the cinema after 5pm?

Prisoners are reoffending when they leave prison, because they are not being educated properly while in prison, prisoners should be taught and helped so that when they leave prison they can become responsible members of society. Killing them will achieve nothing.

i find it funny how some people mention "bad" things that you can do or have happen in aberdeen as if they only happen here.

They are a group of opera ish singers, but not hte ones that won the tv show, they are caleld G4. They came out around the same time though and Il Divo are simon cowell managed. A lot of acts are playing in other countries rather than their own, i assume for some of the lesser known group, they see it as a chance to take advantage of the situation to gain publicity.

what do you htink of this? I found it quite dissapointing when i got it a few weeks ago, considering all hte praise i've heard for this. recently i've picked up the new s.o.a.d, coral and oasis albulms
