  1. i haven't listened to muse in a while, i liked absolution a lot when it came out, i'm not so sure now though. THey're absolutley awesome live though.
  2. One other thing i found odd was having fear of music by talking heads in the list, but not remain in light, which i think is far better but also i believe it is considered by most music critics and fans to be their best, so it was a bit of a strange decision. And i did vote.
  3. SNP dont have much of a chance there. Not that i think that will or should change your mind.
  4. how is it? I've been meaning to get it, but i've heard mixed things.
  5. beach boys - pet sounds radiohead - hail to thief the go! team - thunder lightning strike the arcade fire - funeral Brian Wilson - Smile Beatles - Rubber Soul De La Soul -3ft High and Rising Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation Green Day - Nimrod Velvet Underground - Velvet underground and nico Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
  6. i'd at least be interested in seeing these, it's no where near the glasto line up, but i'm looking forward to it.
  7. i'll be voting lib dem. However if it is a fight between labour and the Conservatives I am hoping for a labour victory. I honestly think they've done an ok job since coming to power.
  8. she said she bought a t-shrt that said rage against the machine, she didn't know what it meant but she liked it. I laughed.
  9. some good additions, willy mason and echo.. should be good.
  10. i'll problay be along if i can get tickets on the door.
  11. I can't remember who but a few weeks ago one of radiohead said htey'd bee nworking in the studio for a few weeks. Thom and Jonny played Arpeggi at the ether festival which jonny had composed a few pieces for. Thom has said they have nearly finished the song, but is unshure if it will be on the new album. Thom played a new song during a short acoustic set at an overnight trade justice rally in london recently. There isn't really much other news. New bits of art work and possible lyrics have been appearing regulary on their site recently. Keep an eye on www.ateaseweb.com for news.
  12. I htink OK Computer is the best album of all time so i'm happy (ish) with the list some good stuff on it some bad. I've seen a lot worse top 100's and by channel 4 standards it is suprisingly good. Good to see bjork (and yes she is better the the bland doors) their, but it should have been homogenic and not debut. Biggest travesty about the list is that pet osunds was so low. The Beatles deserve 3 albums in there, but i wouldn't have picked those three though. Imo Rubber sould is their best. Back on Ok Computer, I find it incredibly uplifting not depressing, and it's light years ahead of the bends, Radiohead have 4 albums better than the bends. Also Elephant isn't the best white stripes album, de stijl is clearly their best imo.
  13. i'd love to see him, but i'll be in dublin this weekend. I'ev that he might be playing reading though, so hopefully i'll catch him there.
  14. maple and le reno amps at the moment
  15. that was a stupid thing to do, it's the best song on the album and would have made a great single.
  16. not sure whose it is, the very green picture of the guy form mettalica. favourite was maybe leif erikson's jose mourinho avatar
  17. the old video was better, why do new bands htese days alwasy have to re-release so many of their singles.
  18. At least i can now avoid the problem of not knowing which team to support in the semi's.
  19. but the download line up is shit. It always is.
  20. I wouldn't say Radiohead try to make their music too serious. Not all the time anyway. E.g Karma police isn't serious at all, and some of the lyrics alwasys make me smile. "her hitler hairdo is making me feel ill"
