I have to admit that when I read Jake's post my first thought was HAHA YAAAAAAAAAASSS! Then I remembered that Jake is a real person and not just a character in my online world providing me with entertainment.

Anderson has been immense in our biggest matches this season. Best player in the cup final, incredible in the cup win over Celtic and as said fantastic in the semi-final.

When are Peter Pawlett and Johnny Hayes expected back for the dons? Will either of them make the semi-final? We've been looking a little toothless lately and I won't be confident without them.

I hate the months before world cups sometimes. I'm always scared that top players might get big injuries that will keep them out. Especially players in their peak who should have their best world cup.

Weren't Barca given special dispensation to sign a new keeper out of the window when Valdes got injured? They decided Pinto would do to the end of the season but maybe the goalkeeper would still be a special case because of the Valdes situation. Should wait and see what happens with the appeal. What happened with Chelsea again? Was it three windows down to one? Barca fans are quite angry about this. I think there'll be more boardroom changes very soon which can't have a good affect on the team.

They will surely be allowed to sign a keeper though? They were given special dispensation to sign a keeper outwith the transfer window as soon as Valdes got injured, just chose not to. I'm amazed that there had been no sign of this coming in the press until BAM, one of the biggest clubs in europe can't sign players.

That's within the EU, but Barca didn't get banned when they signed Messi, nor did PSV when they signed Ronald at 17, and there must be others although perhaps not as many as I first assumed.

Yes but they're recent form is atrocious. If hibs keep losing to the teams below them in the post split fixtures then they could fall into that playoff spot. However I think they only need a few points to be safe and will probably do it.

So did United play a lot better than they have been for the rest of this season or were Bayern below par. If it's the former the players should be ashamed of themselves that they haven't produced this level more often.

I didn't see the game but going by that gif I say NO FOUL. Barca - Atletico was quite good but scrappy, second half was better, most obviously because of the two top quality goals. Iniesta was superb.

A few weeks ago I thought Everton's top 4 chances had all but gone, now they have a great chance and Martinez deserves a lot of credit.

It's hard to believe I'm saying this but I want Liverpool to win the league. Fun team to watch and going from seventh place to potentially winning it is a massive achievement. Another thing overlooked from the weekend is that Everton finishing in fourth is in their own hands too. Liverpool would be a very happy place at the end of the season if both teams achieve those targets. I like Arsenal and earlier in the season I rooted for them to win the league but now they've imploded a bit I'd like to see them drop out and change up the top four even more. Back on Saints, Rodriguez has to go as the second highest English goal scorer this season but I have a feeling he may be the one to miss out with Lallana and Lambert going. Shaw will probably miss out too but I think he should also go. Lallana has to be the first name on the team sheet, he's incredible.

Just watching Saturday's MOTD. Newcastle were hilariously bad. If there aren't 4 Southampton players in the England Squad Roy should be sacked.

From my experience Spain is quite a gay friendly place. At least Barcelona is but Madrid too from what I've seen there. Gay marriage, which has only just been made legal in England and still isn't in Scotland, has been in place in Spain since 2005. I can't think of any serious homophobic incidents I've seen out in public. However it is quite a divided country and you just have to look at the current government to see that there are lots of people with conservative views. They have tried to repeal the same sex marriage laws but failed and are currently implementing Europe's strictest anti-abortion laws. I imagine that if you go out of the centre of the big cities life as a gay person would be much more difficult. I think the police presence at that protest was to do with it being a protest in general and not because it was for gay rights. There have been an uncountable number of protests here over the past few years for every issue imaginable and some do get out of hand. The police tend to be prepared for trouble. And the comparison with the world cup celebrations, well Spain won the world cup, I imagine the police were out pished and making a mess.
