Who's used their January wildcard already? I had to use it last week as I'd picked up a few injuries and there were a few changes I wanted anyway. It went well with over 80 points at the weekend but now I', already considering changing it again to get Aguero in. I've got a bit of spare money which would make it possible if I downgrade one midfielder a bit and change Negredo for him. But Negredo is banging them in too, just don't know what to do.

All it takes for a player to be genuinely linked with a club is for one person to say it on twitter and a paper to pick up on it. Or a paper to just invent it themselves. There's no way Barcelona considered buying Samaras. They got Neymar in the summer for fucks sake. I'd be amazed if the rumour even got any publicity outside Scotland. Scottish papers love to try and make our league look good by suggesting clubs from the big leagues are interested in players from clubs here. It's all just part of why the transfer windows are the most annoying times in British football. The summer one especially.

Yeah that is very bad. I immediately had to reduce the volume just in case anyone in my flat over heard and thought I liked it. It wasn't long before I had to turn it off completely. Total shite.

I watched the first episode of the new HBO series True Detective. It was great and shows potential to be another brilliant show for them.

I saw Liars live last year and it was mostly the electro sound shown in that new song. Even some older songs they played were updated to fit with the new stuff. Tbh I don't think Liars are a band you'll ever see "go back" to an old sound. I do love their debut though, an album which seems to be very lowly rated by their fans online.

Savage is an awful cunt. I didn't mention that I went to see Barca B - Hercules at the weekend. 5-0 Barca. Hercules had the ball in the net four times and all ruled out ! Can't remember seeing any other game where that happened so much.

Which often goes way over the top and becomes one of the downsides of the show. But at its best some of the parodies they do are brilliant and actually the only show I can think of which has parodied popular culture in such a good way is classic Simpsons.

By the way Robbie Fowler did (much later) get in touch with Graeme Le Saux and apologise which I believe Le Saux accepted as genuine.

Beats, Rhymes and Life: The Travels of Tribe Called Quest Very good documentary although it's a bit of a shame how Q-Tip and Phife both come across as dicks a lot of the time. But the parts about the early days of the group and all the Native Tongues stuff is real good and there's obviously loads of god music throughout.

Although to be fair there's a chance Milner saw episodes from the total shit heap that was season four and not something from one of Dan Harmon's seasons when it's been one of the smartest comedies on tv.

If I were to re-do my top albums list for last year this would be very high on it.

I've watched the first two episodes of the new season of 'Girls'. The season two recap at the start of episode one made me a bit apprehensive as it reminded me of a lot of things I didn't like about last season. However I thought these two were decent.

Liars new album is out in March.
