  2. Waking up at midnight. Sleep pattern is fucked now. And where did Friday go?
  3. I've not listened to it! I've heard a few songs which were okay but didn't make me go and get the album. The Sky Ferreira album is definitely my pop album of the moment.
  4. They'll be hoping for 6 points in their next two games against Stoke and Hull because the four fixtures after that include Chelsea, Arsenal and City. However their recent matches against the top teams suggest they could pick up a few points from those matches too.
  5. What's happening with that Freddie Gibbs and Madlib album? I have a single that came out ages ago but not been aware of anything since. From the last couple of days. Cut Copy | Free Your Mind - Love this. Could compete with In Ghost Colours as my favourite of theirs. Sky Ferreira | Night Time, My Time - Long awaited album that doesn't disappoint. A contender for my pop album of the year but will likely fall just behind CharliXCX. The Field | From Here We Go Sublime - A long time favourite but has really been hitting me hard the last few days. It's amazing how the tracks all seem to be similar yet sound so different. It just sounds wonderful, techno rarely sounds as organic and human as this. The Velvet Underground | The Velvet Underground& Nico - 10/10 perfect. The Velvet Underground | White Light, White Heat - Not quite the standard of the debut but not far from it.
  6. The thread is for pop music that you like YoungA. Not to moan about music you don't.
  7. They've been up round there for weeks! And been higher and some points. Absolute miserly defence, well organised and extremely hard working. The signs were there last season under Pochettino that they had good potential. Don't score enough goals but I'd expect them to remain in the top 8 at least for the whole season. Oh and on an unrelated note...
  8. Outstanding result for the dons considering the circumstances. Is this the year we finally win something?
  9. My favourite from the VU&Nico album changes quite a lot but Heroin is always up there, absolutely love it. Both those songs are great!
  10. Who gives a fuck? Lets enjoy some music http://youtu.be/ffr0opfm6I4
  11. Ah ok, knew I had to be missing something there.
  12. At the time of Jimi Hendrix and The Velvet Underground?
  13. Heynckes has to win it even though a big part of me would really like to see Klopp get it because he's done a remarkable job there. However you just can't look past a team that played as well as Bayern and was so successful. The player award is much more difficult. I think Messi's run of victories will probably come to an end which I just about think should happen. The logical thing is to look to a Bayern player but I think their votes could be split, Ribery, Robben and Muller at least will all get a number of votes I'd imagine. If I had to stick my neck out I'd go for Ribery to take it. Zlatan could be close but I don't see him getting higher than 3rd or 4th. Xavi shouldn't be on there, he's not been the same player in 2013 at all. He probably hasn't been at his peak since 2011. The biggest omissions to me are Marco Reus and Mario Gotze.
  14. To me the Velvet Underground are only surpassed by The Beatles and The Beach Boys in that era.
  15. I did not know about Flanders marrying Edna until now. And now I kid of hate you for that.
  16. I've not seen one. High five to all my behind the times mates for not clogging up my feed with it.
  17. I thought it was strange that there hadn't been a thread about this yet. Maybe there's been some discussion in the deathpool thread. The news came as a surprise to me but I hadn't been aware of his liver transplant and other health problems. There was an incredibly shitty article in the daily mail criticising his lifestyle which seems completely unnecessary to do the day after his death but that's what the daily mail does I suppose. Anyway I think he's obviously going to be remembered as an extremely important person is the history of rock music. Although perhaps not with everyone, one girl I know had this reaction to the news, "Awww no, was that the mambo no.5 guy?"
