  1. Hardly a proper line-up, no Christian Olde Wolbers or Raymond Herrera.

I like Soul Of A New Machine and Demanufacture/Remanufacture but nothing after that really grabbed me and they were shite when i saw them in 2004.

I don't think that Christian Olde Wolbers provided much to Fear Factory IMHO. The decent stuff was when Dino was the guitarist. Also FF made an awesome album without Christian.

Byron Stroud. He has actually been in Fear Factory for years as well as SYL.

As for Raymond... yeah he is fast but he doesn't seem to know what a tom drum is (very one dimensional). Gene Hoglan eats him for breakfast.

  2. I thought that James kicked ass. Trapped under Ice was definately a highlight!

Rob and James were giving it hell. Lars was not too shabby. Kirk is a really good guitarist but he seems to be going through the motions. Just my honest opinion.

Machinehead were fucking terrible! The person in charge of their sound should be taken out and shot. I also cringe at that "Halo" song. Jeez, leave songs in that style to Bullet for my valentine and Trivium. Seriously, Machinehead were like the sacrificial lambs to the slaughter before Metallica played.

I was near the walkway and when James came off-stage he ran along then fell face first. It took him about 15 seconds to get to his feet. Hope he is ok, because it looked like a bad fall and it took him ages to get to his feet!

  3. Anyone else noticed that if you ask a question, Chaosphere doesn't directly respond with a straight answer?

I would honestly rather buy a guitar from one of those Nigerian Spammers...

Also, do you know what CAPITAL LETTERS are Chaosphere?

  4. I really don't want to get into this debate tbh, but I have to say you're really missing the point here. He is not saying that he thinks Wifebeater are a Nazi band. In fact he has said several times that he doesn't think that. You and Exposure both seem to have latched on to the N word so much that you can't actually see his point.

The way I see it is he is trying to compare them to any band with a radical and unacceptable (to most) agenda, which could be anything. But by far the most common example of this would be bands with far right views, so he used that as an analogy. Analogy, not accusation.

    However,

A Nazi band- Tends to have Nazi beliefs and promotes the Nazi ethos to others.

Wifebeater- A satirical band who are not promoting any beliefs.

Indeed it may be a band name that stirs controversy. However, there is nothing controversial about Wifebeater (as a band). I'm sure most people with half a brain realises this. The irony is when MP's go off on one without actually hearing the facts.

  5. Kinda what I have in mind for the upcoming CD, I'll be doing alternative titles for uptight local politicians. Example:

Title - Where's my fucking tea?

Alternatinve title - You take it easy my little poppet, I'll cook the tea today.

    Or...

Just bain the lounge deary. Fit wid ye like..? Wi hae Camomile, green or herbal.
