  1. It wasn't an insult. He actually does have sausage fingers.
  2. Ooops, I've offended Ass-ention's fan. Mac (can't read who's logged in)
  3. I haven't actually bought it, but Chris (from we shall be blessed) let me borrow it.
  4. "I slept with brothel-full of 50 year old puerto rican prostitute without protection. The doctor says my willy has rotted off because I contracted...."
  5. 'Clients' by the Red Chord is astounding... I would definitely recommend it to any fans of death, grind or extreme metal... or for anyone with a passing interest of heavy music for that matter. It sounds like a cross between Mastodon, Lamb Of God, Morbid Angel with ocassional hints of Crowbar and their own brand of blastbeat grind. And that nowhere near even does it justice. I have owned this album for a few days and listened to it on repeat. Check it out.
  6. nice! funny thing is I actually like some cannibal corpse stuff, and our next song actually has a riff in it that sounds similar to the start of "staring through the eyes of the dead" (off "the bleeding" album)
  7. thanks for the comments man, however one thing I'd just like to say regarding the above; Clearly we're not actually a PROG band as such, and certainly don't try to be one. However, bands such as Dream Theater, Tool, Opeth, Meshuggah and especially Devin Townsend's work influence various individuals in the band - and whether we actually sound like them or not doesn't take away from the fact that they are still a great influence. Just thought I'd mention that so you can see where we're coming from! Cheers Dan
  8. the only way a pig should look
  9. I am sorry Mouse but i would say the complete contrary: I think it's very average, not as good as train of thought and the title track is a waste of disk space. Quite dissappointed as it's definitely one of my leas favourite DT albums
  10. Jake - you are STILL emo-bashing! It's not summer 2004 anymore.
  11. I don't like the vocals as much as the last record... production sounds better, but I think they might have gone a tad too much in the guns n roses direction. Only listened to it once so far though!
  12. not really, but I'd definitely go see them if not for the guitar theatrics.... I actually also heard them on the radio the other day! (seriously)
  13. released on the same day! (Last monday) not given the DT album a full listen yet but the biomechanical one is awesome. Sounding better than "Eight Moons" partially due to an awesome co-production and mix from Sir Andy Sneap (god) Anyone else purchased these fine goodies?
  14. man it better not be biomechanical... I LOVE biomechanical but unfortunately can't make the gig cos I am on holiday...
  15. maynard is 3 feet tall, skinny and camp. I don't know how he managed that move.
  16. Textures. Dutch band, and their album 'Polars' is fucking incredible. It has crazy polyrhythmic technical riffs a la meshuggah, great atmospheric dynamics in a thrash style like mid period soilwork and sweeping sections of layered music like Devin Towsend. Their album has a bunch of three minute songs plus a 17 minute epic and everything on it is genius. I don't know if you can download their songs somewhere but try; www.myspace.com/textures
  17. They only said they'd introduce 99p coins - not that you HAVE to use them at every shop.
  18. To keep up with the present government we promise to introduce many policies that have not been thought through properly, purely for cheap votes. These include: Making everyone a lottery winner Providing beer for school children Giving everyone a quid who votes for us
