  1. Which bits do you think are the best? Choruses, riffs, solos, drum fills...uh...basslines? etc etc One of my favourite bits is Mac's cheeky solo half way through "All We Are" Ruv it.
  2. Opeth - the discography Reflux - The illusion of democracy Hopesfall - A-Types I've been in Opeth mode again recently. Megadeth and Opeth regularly have weeks to themselves where pretty much nothing else gets played.
  3. I'd imagine that makes you skint...?
  4. Then why don't you? [EDIT: just noticed mr dayeth has already clocked that one...] And I would have personally said Alice In Chains and Tool DO venture into metal territory - that's not to say that they are entirly metal bands. Same goes for soundgarden - heavily influenced by Sabbath in places - who are often considered the first heavy metal band.
  5. I knew what you meant Flash, these pesky young whippersnappers don't understand that 'hardcore' means more than being a genre of music Anyway, half the stuff Scott (Unbroken) used to download on Jamesy's computer was hardcore without so much as a musical note being played... Glad to hear the gig was good - I was at Moshulu, but will catch WSBB soon, as I have seen their practises and they SLAYYYYYYYYYYY.
  6. This weeks German, Uffe Steinbergen, says; "It's humorous because it is accurate"
  7. All the bands were great, really good gig to attend!
  8. I know how they got their name: because their clothes Lacoste a lot of money. (that was rubbish)
  9. fair play sir, but on that note I'd recommend you NEVER even so much as glance at "Soundtrack..." as you will possibly have a heart attack.
  10. Twas a fun night! Enjoyed the whole night although was fucking knackered by the last few songs... Pretty much all the songs we played averaged out at about 6 or 7 minutes, except for word up and the quarter-of-an-hour melee that was borken alive/watcher combined! Massive praise to the ever present atom hordes... reliable as ever
  11. most people on here work for BT. It's the new Burger King don't you know
  12. So... And Justice For All and the black album are not as good as No Prayer For the Dying, Fear Of The Dark, X-factor and Virtual XI? oops. wrong answer!
  13. No man it's right. That book is heavy as fuck.
  14. Pelican completely nicked a riff from "as I am" off the last Dream Theater album...
  15. He has. It's just there was a particularly large surge of them posting this week.
