  1. Sounds good...I must check it out!
  2. I don't know if this has been brought up yet.... But I want my title back! Regular member? More like massive member!
  3. I heard Acrimony...I think they might have been on Century Media. Only heard one song by them but it was pretty ace!
  4. I sent him a text message this morning....yep, I even have his number. Now who wants to touch me? I said WHO WANTS TO FUCKING TOUCH ME!
  5. yeah, I know...oops. However the 2 albums I had by them I really liked ('keeper of the seven keys part II' and 'better than raw')
  6. here's the snake: I'm not joking, it looked really good! It took me fucking months to do it... It was actually my mum's idea too, and for some reason my dad didn't disapprove.
  7. That's ace. Also, When I was in second or third year of secondary school I did a 4-5 foot high painting of Metallica's figure-8 skeletal snake on the family-room in our house. (not the black album front cover snake - it had "don't tread on me" written across it and was done by pushead) Anway, when we moved the snake stayed a part of the house so unless the current owners have heavily redecorated they'll have some lovely pushead artwork on their wall! (I also painted the helloween logo on my wall in 4th year...but that's a little less credible)
  8. I had that patch on my jeans when I was 11 years old...
  9. And regarding the two bands I'd go for Morbid Angel although I'm not a massive fan of either.
  10. I was just about to start a thread on PRONG!! But never mind now, I'll keep it to here. I've had "Whose Fist Is This Anyway" (with all the squeals at the end riff) in my head recently...and I was gonna say how ace is the album "Cleansing"? It was one of the first CD's I ever bought. And also I loved some of the stuff pushead also did for corrosion of conformity (and I also believe he did some prong artwork too...)
  11. Killswitch Engage released a new album -----> Yes.
  12. quite possibly...although I'm sure he had a brief stint in ENT? Was quite a while ago now though. EDIT: Look what I just found;
  13. I don't understand this, because I thought the whole hardcore/punk ethic was to get their message across to as many people as possible? Surely the bigger label you sign to = more interest from public = message across to more people...? Did Operation Ivy not also split up because "they got too big"? As long as a band doesn't sacrifice their musical integrity in order to get money then I couldn't give a flying fuck whether they are on EMI or releasing music themselves. EDIT: Having said that, if a band is against big corporations etc then I can understand their refusal of signing to a major...however if they still wear shoes by adidas and drink coca cola etc then is it not uber-hypocrisy?

Cock rock is the term for 80's rock music where there were lots of guitar solos and showing off - more than likely with long hair and spandex of sorts.
  15. I think I maybe saw barney once wearing an ASF t-shirt or something? God know why I thought of them...
  16. I'm not sure but I thought Barney from Napalm Death was in them? Could be mistaken... shit, no he sang for extreme noise terror for a while didn't he? I'm confused.
  17. Can you chaps remember Alien Sex Fiend?
  18. I know you didn'tsay bad, but I was just saying I think it is ace! So blunt.
  19. THe song was "Alan's on fire" by Machine Head (orignally by Poison Idea) Pete the ninja got closest. It's an awesome song, and was available on the original digipack version of Burn My Eyes.
  20. The one time I ever "heckled" a band, was actually during king liar and the brutes. (it wasn't even really heckling...) Someone shouted out "show us your bollocks!" And I then shouted "They've been showing us they're bollocks for the last 15 minutes!" I thought it was funny but I got dirty looks from their friends... it was only a joke
  21. Calum, you will love this story: A few years back (say 2001) me and my friend Dave went to see Extreme Noise terror and a Failed Humanity (another death metal band) play at Harlow Square in Essex. Anyway there was hardly anyone there, but during the Failed Humanity set there was this guy with spikey hair, leather jacket and bottle of cider going mental thinking he was cool doing all these death grunts to the failed humanity songs. (incidentally Failed Humanity covered Hammer Smashed Face by cannibal Corpse - ACE!!!) Anyway, the cider guy was pissing me and Dave off so during a pit we floored him! Turns out Extreme Noise Terror cancelled the show (which we were unaware of until after Failed Humanity had finished), but the singer turned up anyway to watch the gig....and he was the dude we floored! HAHAHA!
  22. Damn...I've got to go away I was having fun!
