big suitcase - dont know dimensions, but looks the size of one of those really big ones primark used to do. Is a charming polka-dot finish. In perfect nick, only ever used to move flat once, and that was about 100 yards. Belonged to my parents, but they said i could keep it - dont need it, so its going for 10.

Lets face it. The internet is a double edged sword. You can buy new stuff cheaper if you want to buy without trying it out first. However, I've noticed that 2nd prices have in general been getting higher. I suppose the reason for this is sites like Ebay which show your average person what they can get for their 60's, 70's telecaster they were giving by their uncle etc.

Of all the music stuff I have collected over the years, only one guitar was bought on the web. It was a new 2002 Les Paul. Why did I buy this new?..Well simply because R&B and Brucies was asking quite a bit more for the same guitar, but only willing to give me 1.99 (well they offered a little bit more than that) for my PRS custom 24fret c/w 10 top and birds. I would be more than willing to give the local shop my trade (and still do) but let's face it, they take the piss when it comes to trade in's etc. I don't need to know that they can get the same guitar new from the suppliers for only 50p more etc. Well you know something shop owners, we the buying public, can get cheaper guitars elsewhere, hence why so many people do it.

when i asked about trading a gibson SG i once had in for a telecaster, they said "yeah sure....it'd have to be a squier, though!"

selling as i've got a marshall JMP, and it's basically a 126 channel amp (midi controlled, valve-driven preamp) so the pedal's a bit obsolete now!

incase you dont know - marshall shredmaster, as used by radiohead, etc - basically it's known as the "jcm800 in a box", such is the sound it makes. bloody brilliant sounding pedal.

I've got a couple of quests to get in there and it's annoying me quite a lot. Even tried jumping off the top of the flight deck, but didn't make it.

go round the back of the broken bit of the ship - ie the most south/easterly part of the map, , and swim round the water-based side of the ship to the split. theeeen if you go under water and face towards the broken part (ie face south) there's an unlocked door to get in.

beware though, the fucker's reaming with mirelurks and you have to be pretty swift to avoid drowning. lots of nice swag in there though

my plan is to just wonder about to get back to grips with the game, but maybe a little direction for some snazzy gear/side quests would be helpful?

go to the west of the map and find the Deathclaw Sanctuary. It's a hoot, and has a gatling laser called Vengeance - its ace. also, in the middle of the map near Minefield, theres a

wreck of an alien spaceship and an alien blaster that basically kills everything with one shot. be careful though, because once its broken, you're fucked. same with ammo, once you're out, i think theres a storage warehouse at the north of the map with some more but its a cunt to get into

To be honest mate, I'm still tryin' to figure it out too.....

I can record and playback tracks etc.... but still have'nt worked out how to set left and right channels and then mixdown to wma/mp3 ?? Anyone tell me how ??

what do you mean by set left/right channels?

and to mix down, go to file/export/audio mixdown

there should be a drop down list letting you specify what you want to output as, if MP3 isnt there, then your version of cubase is one without the mpeg encoder codec, and they usually try to charge you for it.

what to do as a neat workaround, is just use itune's ability to creat an AAC/MP3 version of a song - export your song from cubase as a wav, open it up in itunes, and convert from there. easy

right, make sure its installed and recognised by the computer. it's an integrated interface so the computer should have done a little bit of thinking about it when you plugged it in - make sure if it came with any software that you've installed it, and its in control panel and showing up.

Now, open cubase. On the top bar, go to Devices/Device setup, and on the VST Audio System pane there should be a little drop down box with the words ASIO driver next to it. make sure your lightsnake is listed, it'll probably be named usb audio device

if not, it hasnt properly installed, uninstall and try again. i had that problem with a usb-midi cable i got from bruce millers ages ago, never buying one of those nameless useless fuckers ever again.

once you've done that, make sure in your VST connections pane (press F4 to access it) that it's set up as one of the inputs (pretty self explanatory how to do that!)

Been using Line 6 Toneport UX1 but I get a bloody error message now saying I may not hear the tones and have lost patience and would like something a little more robust but not too expensive.

it's awesome, for a virtual guitar set up, i havent heard anything better, to be honest.

Its a 500gb iomega multimedia hdd - as in one you can connect up to your television and play videos/music/photos etc on.

it's HDMI compatible, has the HDMI socket/component parts, also has a scart plug and a remote control.

it's cool as hell this thing, shit i have to part with it, but i'll make do.

it can play mpegs of any kind (even mp4) avi, wav, wmv, jpg, mp3s - only thing i couldnt get it to work with were MKV videos, but you'd have to be a proper nerd to care about that.

it's this one here, and i'm looking for 70. I'd even leave all of my videos on it for you if you wanted, heh
