this is a piece of marshall history used by the likes of dave mustaine and is one of the most versitile amps available and it will become harder and harder to buy one in the future

i'll back you up there, i have one too and it's brilliant.

the 8004 would be 40 either side, i think, so 80w overall.

the JMP though is a preamp, so it doesnt reeeallly work that way. you need the preamp to drive the poweramp

not stupidly big, big enough for 2 volume pedals, a shredmaster and a fuzz factory.

and i wouldnt compare him to tennant; every doctor is different. you couldnt compare tennant to ecclestone, cos they did it totally different ways. same with any of them in the past - davison with baker? two totally different interpretations, both good though

i've got high hopes, moffat is a properly amazing writer, so id imagine he must have been absolutely amazing to impress him enough to get the part.
