If you want the scene to grow, you have to do some pruning. And if someone is of the opinion that a band is shite, they need to be able to say so. If the message gets through to the band, then hopefully they can strive to improve, or even just fuck off and let someone else have a go. Everyone being nice to each other and hiding what they really think does nobody any good.

1 - The Simpsons - just always loved it and found it funny, one of those shows that'll be repeated until the end on time. Iconic, even.

2 - The X Files - To this day, the only one of those dense american dramas that i've really gotten into. Properly spooky and amazingly crafted.

3 - Red Dwarf - Probably my favourite british show, loved every minute of it from when i first saw it at the age of 3 yes, i'm a geek

4 - Top Gear - for the banter, guaranteed a good laugh every single episode.

5 - Mythbusters - just a fantastic laugh, the ones debunking movie myths are great!

6 - Father Ted - Nuff said.

7 - Have I Got News For You - theres something about satire that makes me piss myself laughing, and watching Ian Hislop mercilessly abuse people in the rather eloquent way he does never fails - an old episode with Piers Morgan as the guest star being a great example of how the quiz-com should be done!

8 - Black Books - best british comedy since Red Dwarf and Father Ted stopped. Fact.

9 - Family Guy - if only for the character of Stewie Griffin alone! So funny it hurts, although seasons 4 and 5 were a bit patchy. 6 was ace though

10 - The New Statesman - Rik Mayall at his best, easily! Every single episode of this is gold. If you havent seen it, make an effort - it sends up the tories in the late 80s/early 90s fantastically!

Just wondering how noisy everyone's xbox 360 gets with this game (as in disc read noise)?

I've heard the game is quite intensive on the DVD drive and even though my xbox is brand new it makes a hell of a racket playing Gears of War (i'm catching up on older games before i buy GTA4). In fact it makes so much noise I actually thought it might be faulty until my mate said his is the same.
