Has anyone here by any chance got a korg kaoss pad KP2? mine just stopped working - just wondering if anyone by any chance had one so i could see if it's just the power supply thats failed, or the whole unit?

okay, seeing as i'm basically bed-bound for the foreseeable future, i've been experimenting with some stuff in cubase, and routing the output through my Line 6 Toneport UX1's analog outs.

one signal into output 1, and another into output 2. output 1 is a vocoder signal, output 2 is a midi drum signal synced to cubase's metronome.

heres the problem - both are only transmitting out of the left ear from the analog outs.

i know i'm gonna need to get an adapter of some kind, but could you guys help clarify what it is i'd need? i figured mono adapters would be right given that my stereo headphones are only getting the left ear's signal

Are you not worried that it wont be doing correct tuning readouts going through lots and lots of pedals before the signal gets there?

just an update, changed the board about again:D got the new wood from a mid-renovation kitchen junk pile. its actually slanted too, but cant really see that in the pic.

i dropped the DL4 from the set up, but added the akai headrush for looping fun

i also put the tuner at the end of the chain to double as a mute/cut off switch.

still havent replaced the metal muff yet, can anyone think of a nice versatile distortion pedal? as in it does insanity but relative calm aswell? i was gonna get a modded DS-1 but havent got round to it yet
