  1. Baws. In that case - where else am I likely to find large groups of people who are interested in drawing/art? xx
  2. Banter aside though - this thread was one of the good, useful ones on this site and we are killing it. This needs to stop. Is the college currently on summer holiday as well as both Uni's? I'm planning to do a flyer drop there but won't bother if there are no students about! xx
  3. At the risk of sounding like a smartarse, haven't you been waiting for it for 5 years...? xx
  4. Listen to the fucking drummer thinking he's a real musician all of a sudden! xx
  5. I picked this up a while back, really good set of kit. Scouring the fucking net trying to find the same kind of package for Bass but no luck xx
  6. Bumparoo! This weekend folks! Would banning Jake from the event drum any more interest from the rest of you? xx
  7. I suppose they're just hoping that among the slew of duds there'll be another US Office which is absolute gold. Thinking about it - I reckon US Inbetweeners might be good. Like a TV show version of Superbad or American Pie like someone else mentioned. The US conversions of British shows only really seem to be dying on their arse completely when they are meant to be "edgy" and "serious". Skins and Shameless are both pretty gritty and working class and I think that's the element of it that isn't going over in the US. If they get to just do brainless cringe comedy there's no reason for the Inbetweeners not to be as good as the original (depending on the writers, obviously). xx EDIT: Also - I wonder if they'll try to invent a new catchphrase word for pussy, or will they try to bring Clunge across the Atlantic?
  8. You've obviously never seen El Bad Teachero starring Seth Rogan and Cameron Diaz. xx
  9. I can't say I'm the biggest Boss fan. What I've heard of his I enjoy when I'm in the mood for it. However, I'd fucking love to see him live, fan of his music or not I bet he's an absolute powerhouse on stage! xx
  10. The cover band I'm in are playing at the palace. It's free to get in but I'm getting a lift in the bandwagon I'm afraid! And yeah she lives on a farm and keeps ducks. They had eggs which weren't used as breakfast and now little fuzzy ducks are there to be played with. . xx
  11. Tonight: Gig in Peterhead. Tomorrow: Friend of mine has a swarm of ducklings that I'm going to go play with. Sunday: Heading to Edinburger for a Dr Sketchy's event. xx
  12. I'm amazed I got here first with that. xx
  13. TBF you could see if a local artist or the like wanted to paint some kind of mural or piece on the white plate, varnish over it and make it a boutique-looking-son'bitch xx
  14. Personally I think the green one is a fucktonne nicer than the white, but that's just me. xx
  15. I love Get a Job, Pretty Fly is a bit guff but I still let it play for the novelty. Forgot about Feelings though, that one's pretty baws. And I have to respectfully disagree about Sorrow, but that's just a taste thing. I fucking love punk with a lapslapping vibe to it and I think Sorrow is an absolute fucking stoater of a tune. xx
  16. Give me a shout if you'd consider splitting the rig and selling the head alone. xx
  17. Also Bad Religion - Process of Belief. Amazing harmonies and fist-puming choruses (chorii?). Great production - raw and aggressive while still having good sound quality. Stoating album. xx
  18. "MY FRIIEEENNDS GOT A GIRLFRIEND AND HE HATES THAT BIITCH!" Dumped that record into my 'working' playlist for the week. Not a weak track on it, fantastic band. Kings of pop punk riffage! Even Pretty Fly has a shit hot riff in it if you ignore how irritating the vocals are. xx
  19. I use reaper and scoured google for well-spoken-of VSTs. You download and install VST software and it works in the same way as adding compression or reverb would to the track, only it can be an amp or a pedal emulator. The good thing about it for recording is you can record the guitar 100% dry and play around with fx and VSTs afterwards. xx
  20. I bought one of these. Does the trick! xx EDIT: Only I paid £10, the one I linked appears to have the price listed wrong!
  21. Ahh, then I strike my fucktard comment from the record. Or at least put it on hold until you say something else to annoy me xx
