The Expendables 2 Absolutely amazing. Pure, unapologetically woeful cheesy action bliss. I fucking adored it. Some excellent LOL kills and one-liners. There were plenty of references to the cast's careers which always felt uncomfortable and shoehorned in which made them even better. Just a wonderful piece of cinema. If you want cheesy action, there is no better example. 10/10

Was driving like a cunt on back roads, dabbed the brakes to slow down right as I lifed off on the apex of a smallish bump on the road. Wheels locked, flew off the road into a park and rolled a few times. Must have landed on some kind of animal because there was so much blood in the car that it was assumed there was a passenger, since I barely had a scratch on me. I was brought in and questioned on suspicion of murder. I don't drive like a cunt any more. xx

The sheer number of people putting this record in their list made me spotify it. I had heard a couple of Japandroids tunes before and enjoyed them but they didn't quite grab me enough to make me want to plunge into a whole record of theirs. This album is fucking excellent though. Brimming with energy but still managing to keep a poppy, light hearted edge. xx
