With the exception of it's lead (something the missus will be pissed off about), this may turn out to be quite good!!Sarah Michelle Gellar (The Grudge) is set to star in and Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre) will direct the video game adaptation Alice for Universal Pictures, says Variety. Based on a twisted take of the Lewis Carroll classic, the project was originally developed at Dimension.The fractured fairy tale, adapted by Erich and Jon Hoeber, picks up Alice after her home has been destroyed and her family killed. The sole survivor of the disaster, she returns to a dark and threatening Wonderland where she must confront her fears before returning to her normal life.The game was originally created by American McGee for Electronic Arts.
