allstardawn
Those who are going, obviously.I just looked up the National Express website, but I'm not prepared to pay nearly 75 for a return ticket. Nor do I really want to spend the same amount on trains. Just wondered if anyone knew of any cheap bus/train companies that are doing special deals specifically for the festival or whatnot. Cheapest option last year i believe was the 1up but which fell just short of 75. Better start saving your pennies... ken?
threeornothing
Megabus it down to Manchester, will cost you about 20 return if you book now, then get a coach from manchester to Leeds for about 20 return again...obviously make sure the times all work out...megabus usually hits manchester around 3.30pm ... 6.40am departure from Aberdeen though!! Paranoid Android
75 is shocking, national express is cheaper than that to London. I'm going to Reading, getting the megabus down to london then national express to the campsite. Together it cost me about 20 return.

Paulscoconutass
On a LEEDS related note... last year we had a lame-assed aberdeen-music camp with about 15 people, but this year we want the real deal. We always camp at the top of the hill because it's never too busy and avoids most of the trouble - without being miles away from the arena.Who's with us? My mates and i are all going down a day early, so if anyone wants to give us their tents they'd be garunteed a decent place in Aberdonia part 3. Stephen
dont need to grab everyones tent. some sort of rope or police type tape (you know what i mean im sure) then grab some sticks and mark out area needed for numbers coming down and then rope/tape off area. viola! mass camps at festivals are way to go. catherine
i think me and ryan are meant to be camping with my sister and her mates. but an aberdeen-music camp may be more fun. well see nearer the time

Snowball
I bought train tickets the other day. By asking the guy at the desk about the cheapest possible way and being flexible with times my boyfriend and I got returns for 36 each. Well worth the hour long wait in the Travel Office queue.
