MattJimF
wsa a very good gig, loved when they had all the audience crouching down. The support were also really good, glad i got finished from work early to catch them.
Jenni.
Hehe, it was fun. I'd not heard anything off the new album though so I was just happy when the old tunes came up. I was sure they were going to play video killed the radio star at the end. But alas, can't win them all.
MattJimF
i was kinda hoping for that as well, but as it was a cover, i didn't have high hopes.
Johnny Mac
They played it in Glasgow a couple of months back!Awesome gig last night though, loved it!
Tav
I wasn't goin to show for the support band. They were most excellent though! I bought their CD but it is a BIG let down. Their live performance sounded SO much better. Great sounding, I really enjoyed their music.PUSA were awesom. Never thought I'd get to see them live. They played really well + the humour was most amusing. I am glad they played most of the songs I am familiar with from their first album. Their new material sounded good too...still PUSA sounding but a little more pop/rock perhaps?
jaimi
Presidents Of The USAPUSA played the Lemon tree last night(as many of you will know) and they kicked ass. Cant think of anything else to add ither than they were fantastic and very funny aswell, and im glad there back.

Spoonie
both bands were excellent. the presidents played "video killed..." in glasgow in april so i was surprised they didn't play it last night. the in between song banter was fantastic as usual, they're great live entertainers.my only disappointment was that (again) they never played "japan" which is a modern pop masterpiece!spoons /x

Scanners were very good indeed (and pretty hot as Johnny Lucifer points out) PUSA's between song banter was fantastic, and what's more, unless I missed something Chris didn't swear once. What a refreshing change in these days of filthy, limited vocabularies.SignedA swearer
preemo
Yowza!I'll just stoltify my perambulation......YOWZA! Scanners were ok, not great. PUSA however, were amazing. Very very very few bands have such an entertaining stage show but the tunes to back it up like these fella's. Rock of the highest, purest caliber. Scott Schmuk
Yeah, it was incredible! One of the best gigs I've been to. As previously mentioned, banter was brilliant. Enjoyed all the audience participation in general. Chris did swear, but during a song (Kitty) , I'm not sure if that's what you meant though.... So many high points... Can anyone refresh my memory as to which cover was broken into during "Kick Out The Jams"?
Skull Commander
I really enjoyed pusa, but I thought scanners were shite. They are the type of band that would have suited opening the nme stage at t in the park 96, only to fade into obscurity.

Johnny Mac
It was shout. They did a similar thing in Glasgow a few months back (minus getting everyone to crouch down).
