Hog
BA was not on strike last week, it was the catering company
Chris
BA was not on strike last week' date=' it was the catering company[/quote']No, BA sacked 100 workers of the catering company and the BA baggage handlers went on strike in sympathy. Hog
No' date=' BA sacked 100 workers of the catering company and the BA baggage handlers went on strike in sympathy.[/quote']Therefore the initial strike was the catering company who are a seperate entity to BA

Chris
Therefore the initial strike was the catering company who are a seperate entity to BAwell no again. it was the baggage handlers that were on strike. the catering staff were sacked.and anyway you said BA weren't on strike. But they were, wether they started it or not.
Hog
Indeed you are correct Chris although the first strikers were from Gate Gourmet. The bagage handlers striked "out of sympathy" after the Gate Gourmet workers were sacked. Some Gate Gourmet workers striked. How do I know this? I have a friend who works for BA. Smooth_groover
ACTUALLY, you're both wrong. There is no catering company and the strike is still ongoing.
Guest ()Papaspyrou()
Please keep this on topicThe thread is clearly about BA Barracus not going to work today.
