Guest DustyDeviada
Just remembered Short Cuts as well, he was good as a guy whose wife was working for a phone sex line.RIP anyway, and kudos to Chris for carving out a succesful acting career while in the limelight of a sucessful sibling, someything few have achieved. french_disko
http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=22279True Chris Penn storyby mraig January 24th, 2006 09:56:29 PM CST Last summer I worked at Sears in Santa Monica selling vacuums. Chris Penn would come in about once a week, wearing shorts and sandals, and one of those life vest looking jackets. At one time, he bought a very high end vacuum, but then wasn't happy with it, and so he brought it back and cussed up a storm about it. It turned out that the hose wasn't pushed in all the way from the back, but he wouldn't hear anything about it. He kept saying, "That fucking vacuum is a piece of shit" to anyone who would listen. Finally, when he got his money back, he bought a fifty dollar wet/dry vac to clean his house with. So just know that, for the last six months of his life, Chris Penn cleaned his house with a vacuum that was designed to clean up leaves in the garage, not because he couldn't afford better, but because he was a stubborn, stubborn man. But he would come into Sears at least once a week, and look around in the hardware department. So that is the impact that Chris Penn made on my life. Godspeed, Mr. Penn!
