lepeep
I was lucky enough to see the QnA screening at the ICA the other day of Dave McKean and Niel Gaiman's "mirromask"...and I have to say, it was fooking amazing.the film is just 120 mins of full on mcKean images...but animated...http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/mirrormask/It's a Henson movie, like Labarynth and The Dark Crystal, but just pure eye candy...fantastic score by Iain Ballamy too...I am not sure if it's on "general release" ... I hope the belmont get it...go see it, if you like surreal, amazing animation.I met Mr McKean after, he signed a few things , and we talked about stuff...he's just a lovely guy...I wish I'd had all night to talk about films and music and cats!...go see it if you can.peepPS, yes HOG, he has done heaps of Fear Factory and FLA lp covers... PrincessHolly
The Wolves In The Walls and Coraline are two of my favourite books ever. I love Dave McKean's work so fingers crossed the Belmont get this. I really want to go and see The Wolves In The Walls at the Tramway in Glasgow but I've just got way too much on.
