Mick Maverik
Hey, I'm supposed to be travelling down to Plymouth to meet up with a few friends down there at the beginning of June. Anyone know the best way for me to get down? Cheap flights etc? Any info would be much appreciated!Andy
Cloud
Plymouth?! ouch...If you're lucky, I think you can get a direct Virgin train straight there - but all those hours on a Voyager won't be too good for you. You might be able to get cheap tickets - but they're a lottery and possibly not worth relying on. A bus via London could be a lot easier, but it's still a hell of a journey. Flights are a bastard too - you'd probably have to go via Edinburgh or Glasgow, and even that's going to be a killer as I don't think there's any direct flights from there to that part of the world. Lemonade
There is a train goes from Aberdeen to Plymouth via a lot of other places, I've been on it a few times en route to London, it takes fucking ages but at least you don't have to change. pogofish
Eastern Airways fly from Aberdeen to Bristol or Southampton. Pretty cheaply. A train after that would be a less daunting prospect.
