kirkt
Went to see Toots and the Maytals with my little brother on Sunday. Proper authentic ska from Jamaica. Were fuckin immense. All those people who enjoyed ReelBigFish at Moshulu last year missed out on the band who originally did "Monkey Man". Funky Kingston and Pressure Drop plus all the rest of the classics were here. Great crowd though I was suprised there hardly any younger peeps there.

psydoll
Ska means different things to different people though as has been aired many times.Sadly the ticket price meant I wasn't in attendance either- perhaps a Reading festival slot is too much to ask for for them? The Kernel Loaf
The ticket price was ridiculous, otherwise I would have considered it.

Jamie
I think freeform syntax is a ska tradtion - hence This R 2 tone, who incidentally are playing at The Lemon Tree on the 14th of October.
