pete_inthehills
...you went to your first proper gig. Unborns and going with Mummy and Daddy doesn't count.I felt well old last night! Hey, I'm in my mid 30's and still going to gigs and I always feel old at gigs, but my first gig was age 16. I got a ticket to see David Bowie at Main Road in Manchester. I was blown away. After that I was a regular live music devotee.peteinthehills

Alkaline
17, would have been a Hauller gig, possibly one of their fudge appearances so it was likely to have been Drakes (aye the old one).

jester1470
The first band I went specifically to see was Guaranteed Pure at Smart Alec's (the singer Ray Wilson went onto bigger things ).The first bigger gig was Brian May at the Edinburgh Playhouse in 93, I would have been 16, not long before my 17th birthday, then probably Status Quo and Meat Loaf the same year..CheersStuart
