RossP
A group of us are looking to do something/go somewhere different this year for Hogmanay. Has anyone got any recommendations?? Personal experiences of good places?Criteria:- Don't want to go to Edinburgh- Or Aberdeen- Or Glasgow- Prefer somewhere totally random either in the UK or Europe (cheap to get to preferably)- Big fan of wee Scottish coastal villagesHad been considering Belfast, Fort William, Ullapool or perhaps Stonehaven for the fireballs? Chris
Fireballs are good if you haven't been before. Growing up there I've seen them so many times I'm a bit non-plussed about the whole thing now.FAO Jan:Fireballs Home PageAuld Year Goes Out Swinging In Stonehaven | Hogmanay.net (not sure about the "fishing village" description though).
