KarmaTsunami
I was briefly over Christmas. To be honest, it's been really good this time round. I'd stay on but I hate working weekends and have grown accustomed to having them off. It's just amazing how many members of staff get employed who don't appear to know the alphabet/ANYTHING about books. I'm not saying that everyone who works there has to have a thorough knowledge of all the sections, just a basic grounding would be nice. He's the best. Think I may have spoken to you on the phone over the weekend too. Good old internet and life. You guys seem to get loadsa temps each year, though. I think we only get ones who can spell and like books because we only tend to have a couple of vacancies. Ace-ic is not having to start work until 12.30 tomorrow, however, being there 'til 9pm is nae fun.

It's only going to get better tomorrow, and then there is all the food. I can't bloody wait. I love food, and Christmas is when my mum really pulls out all the stops. Lemonade
Amazon Marketplace. It's fucking awesome. Today I got a Stephen King book for 0.01, a New Found Glory album for 0.49, and a Fall Out Boy album for 0.04. Grand total, 54p for two albums and a book. Ludicrous
KarmaTsunami
Ah, but how much with p&p? That's what always kills the marketplace joy for me.
Lemonade
Ah, but how much with p&p? That's what always kills the marketplace joy for me.2.80 p&p for the book - brings it to 2.811.26 each for the CDs, makes it 1.75 and 1.30. Still pretty darn cheap. There's heaps and heaps of stuff you're essentially just paying postage for. I've bought stacks of CD's for 1p plus postage.
