TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Shame the cost cutting doesn't reflect in the price. I doubt the Supersonic will be any better than the Squier vista's.Squier Vistas are fantastically good quality. I had a Super sonic when they first came out, they're just as good as as any Japanese Fender in terms of build quality.

I'd go as far as saying that the orginal vista's are probably better guitars than the new ones too.
Flights
Also I'm loving all the Fender Bass VI love. Can we all get one and start an Aberdeen-Music Cure cover band?

They're a good starting point for modding. The pawn shop ones don't seem worth the cash.
Surfer_Rosa
Another down side for me on those new Bass VIs would be the position of the pickup selector, I'd probably end up hitting it. Think I'd still rather go for the Blacktop Tele or Hagstrom Viking baritones. The strat/tele deluxe thing is winning me over a bit though, definitely not in the sunburst though. keeno
I've posted these before but feel the need to keep reminding you of them. I heart the second offset and the semi-hollow! Are these the ones someone wanted to do a bulk order on? If so I'm definitely in....

I heart the second offset and the semi-hollow!Are these the ones someone wanted to do a bulk order on? If so I'm definitely in....Oh it is indeed. I just assumed it would be 27" like the Blacktop tele baritone. Nope these are totally different to the bulk order guitars (I was the person who posted that too ). All of the proper Agile instruments are MIK and are pretty good quality. I've owned a septor and intercepter before which I bought brand new from them. Honestly, if they didn't make 7/8/9 strings I wouldn't know about Rondo at all.The big issue when buying from them here is they don't offer returns outside of the USA so if you get a lemon you're fucked. If you have a friend in the USA who can inspect if before posting on to you then you can alleviate that risk and save money on shipping or if you live on the shady side of the law I'm sure you could figure out a way to pay less VAT...... Rondo declare full value (as they are legally supposed to) but I know of one company in the USA without my knowledge or request declared the guitar as $100 value when posting it. Kerching. Again not too good if it gets damaged in transit though!
Old Gold
If we are talking semi hollow guitars, this gives me a semi These things have the best necks. Some places are selling the current 5122s off for 500 quid a pop at the moment due to a new model coming out. Buy buy buy!
colb
Hmmmmm. Ordering one with a hard case would cost about £440 including all taxes.Still gonna be about £200 cheaper than the Fender......Just depends whether you're up for taking a gamble on getting a dodgy guitar. neepheid
The Bass VI is too short and has too many strings to mollify me. Nice try.I'm warming to the idea of a Gibson Grabber 3 '70s Tribute bass. Having owned an original '70s G-3, it would be interesting to hear how the new model sounds.Hate the wordy name, but at least they punctuated '70s properly. Also would have to get a 5 ply b/w/b/w/b pickguard made for it, that single ply looks cheap and nasty to me. But apart from that - tidy!Oh, and forgot - that three point bridge would definitely get the heave-ho, no question!
