Someone in the BBC accounts department must have decided the web designers are not being worked hard enough so da management ordered them to do a revamp. Change for changes sake methinks but sure we'll get used to it.

Not surprised there was no big money moves this transfer window, think the overinflated prices of Carroll and Torres 12 months ago has put clubs off spending stupid money on players.

Heard on Talksport today that Rangers only have one fit striker David Healy! Shows how out of touch I am with the SPL, I had no idea he even played for them! They should have gone for Michael Owen!

Leeds United have issued a statement revealing that defender Andy O'Brien has successfully undergone treatment for depression and after a two month absence has now returned to training with the Championship side:

"The club brought disciplinary action against the player following his refusal to play against Burnley on the November 19, 2011.

"It was announced at that time that the player's future would be determined after a full investigation. The investigation has led to a fuller understanding of the issues that the player has faced since the start of the season, which has seen him seek specialist medical treatment at the Sporting Chance Clinic for depression.

"He is now ready to recommence training and the club will facilitate any further treatment that is required. We were exceptionally disappointed when Andy refused to play before the Burnley game and felt let down.

"It is now apparent that there were a number of issues that he was dealing with at that time which affected him in a way we could not imagine and he was not in a right state of mind to make such decisions.

"On this basis we believe he deserves a second chance and we will do everything we can to assist him. The club would appeal to its fans to support the player on his road back to first-team action."

I'm going to feel really bad if JohnW is suffering from depression now.

This is good, another step forward for the illness.

Am I the only one who didn't know that Theo Walcott has written a series of children's books?

He's also written an autobiography... How old is he now? 22 or something? Why on earth would you write a book at that stage of your career?

That said, The Sun were posting snippets from it, and it sounded hilarious. In a painfully uninteresting kind of way. From what I gather, it's a story about how he joined Southampton, and how he met his girlfriend and bought her a car. Christ.

I'd strip him of the captaincy on the basis that he's a massive bellend and clogger of the highest order, never mind the charge. Pretty epic balls-up that it's going to take so long to get the bloody thing resolved though.

"John Terry, you are accused of being a massive bellend and clogger of the highest order. How do you plead?"

"Not guilty m'lud"

"Tough shit. Guilty on both charges. You're stripped of the England captaincy."

"YOU FUCKING ***** **** "

Doesnt really matter if he is found guilty or not guilty by the law in this instance, something definitely happened, for me thats enough, a captain should never be in that position in the first place, Terry is an awful person, even if he was probably one of England's best ever centre halves in his prime.

Completely agree. He's also nowhere near good enough to make-up for the constant swarm of bullshit he brings to the table any more.
