Paranoid Android
If this thread doesn't turn into one of the greatest ever seen I'll be very disappointed.I bloody love Cool Thinker.I never went to Amadeus but I do remember seeing the bus for it with balloons inside. Soda Jerk
My favourite memory of Amadeus was when I went to the Pizza Hut next door. Great memories in there.

waltz
THIS IS WHY ABERDEEN COULD BE SO MUCH BETTER, WE'RE SO STUCK IN THE PAST INSTEAD OF THINKING OF WAYS TO PROGRESS, AND IT'S SO FRUSTRATING

Woodsinho
I agree with Waltz. By all means remember your memories but don't waste your time dwelling on them instead of creating new ones. Move on, take action, you'll probably enjoy it.

Woodsinho
I remember that film.I never went to Amadeus, it was closed by the time I moved to Aberdeen. That was 4 years ago. Probably time y'all we're getting over it.

Probably time y'all we're getting over it.Must have closed at least 10 years ago, right?Seriously, nostalgia. Pointless. Same people who complain about the scene dying out are the folks who masturbate furiously over places they went to a decade ago or bands they saw in the 90s. It's nice to reminisce now and again, but another thread like this? Frustrating.
The Milner
amadeus had a sizzlers inside, true story.
neepheid
It was a bloody horrible, soulless barn of a place. I went there twice. One time we even had a bar tab laid on (work night out thing) and it didn't help. Grim.
Alkaline
I was once trying to get in and about a lassie in Amadeus, she was sitting on my lap and we had just been kissing and she turned round to say something to me and barfed bright purple vomit on my head. Luckily i had a skinhead at the time and went through to the bogs to rinse my head under the tap. I went back through to find her being escorted out as one of the bouncers had seen her being sick. Didn't get laid that night.

fatboy
yes! maybe the liquid is seved solid in a pint glass that dilutes into 2 pints worth in your body? similar to the little cubes of whiskey in Alien Ressurection?why is cups measured in ounces? like my coffee cup is 16 fluid ounces ok, why can you have millilitres like normal? wouldnt a pint of viscous oil weigh more than a pint of skimmed milk?
