Woodsinho
Hey, Cesc, it's "I'm" not "Im".Doofus.
Soda Jerk
Darren Mackie.I like that this is your only contribution to the football thread; telling teams to buy Darren Mackie. And what sage advice it is too.BBC sport twitter account has just said that RVP to Manyoo for 24million. 4 year deal medical to happen before the weekend.Bah I don't really want him still in the EPL but 24 million isn't to be sniffed at. I really hope it gets re invested in the squad though.EDIT: Oh and it's on the Manyoo website too apparantly. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2012/Aug/manchester-united-agree-deal-for-robin-van-persie.aspxBleeding heck. I didn't think that would really happen, ever. I still don't think United need him, but at least they've bought SOMEONE. RVP's words about loving and respecting Arsenal seem very hollow now. What a prick.
Captain America
Annoyingly I still fucking love Cesc and he's great at football. He just said he's in shock because he lost 4 games of Parchisi in a row. Winkyface.O Cesc.
Soda Jerk
Cesc is a good lad. At least he moved for the right reasons, his boyhood club and everything, like Robbie Keane.
Captain America
Haha Eboue still loves Arsenal at least. 235811296023568384

Captain America
Pretty sure it is fake yeah comes out with some funny stuff though.
Soda Jerk
He's great. It's a strange account though. He seems to talk like a real footballer sometimes, but then he comes out with something quite outlandish and a little offensive, which is awesome. It would be great if it was him, but surely he would have been punished by governing bodies a hundred times over by now if it was.

Shortly after the Evra/Suarez handshake incident, "Eboue" invited Suarez to "come to Turkey and shake my ass." Good man.
MattJimF
Why does Billy Dodds keep claiming Scotland got away with a handball, when the player's arm was down by his side and relaxed?
FOX
Why does Billy Dodds keep claiming Scotland got away with a handball, when the player's arm was down by his side and relaxed? He clearly used it to block the shot, not sure how you can argue he didn't. But that's okay, 'cos the ball was out anyway. What a stupid five seconds of shit refereeing.Good result though. Bresciano's goal was an absolute stunner even if he didn't actually think he'd score from it. Good game to watch too, heaps of attacking football. Lemonade
Official attendance 11,100.Probably says a lot about how much importance Scotland supporters place on international friendlies these days, can't even sell out Easter Road. Lemonade
It's like Football Manager, but real....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_records_and_statisticsForgot how entirely dreadful Derby's last foray into the Premier League was. 11 points!
The Milner
RvP has failed his United medical after medical staff spotted a back injury believed to be caused from carrying Arsenal last season
Soda Jerk
LOLI also enjoy the new coined phrase for the new strike partnership, Fatman and Robin.
Paranoid Android
Looks like Song is off too. Could harm Arsenal as much if not more than losing RVP. Need to get someone in to replace him.

Paranoid Android
I don't know. There's a lot of talk on another forum I go to about it. Talking as if it's all but done, saying that I haven't seen any actual news about it. Not sure where the story's coming from.
Paranoid Android
Although I just read an RVP article on the guardian and hidden at the bottom it said Song is expected to complete his move to Barca this week.
The Milner
Yeah seems like he is off to Barca for £16m, but it also looks like Liverpool have nipped in a signed Sahin on loan, Charlie Adam best be on the look out for a move now!
Paranoid Android
Apaprently Arsenal were waiting for the RVP deal to go through before finalising any Sahin move but things took longer than expected and Liverpool got in before them. Soda Jerk
It's fine. Song's crap. well, he's not crap, but he's no FRIMPONG.Why Song though? Busquets is the boy, and Mascherano can't get a game in midfield. Where's Song gonna go?
Captain America
Apparantly Wenger has told Song he can go, rumours from Arsenal being Songs attitude doesn't suit Wenger.Probably means they'll go in for a full on DM as they don't need anyone to go on jaunts like Song did as that'll be Cazorla territory this year.Losing/letting Song go is a bigger loss than RVP, the impending loss of RVP has already been dealt with, selling Song without any replacement in place (other than Frimpong who is a good talent) is risky. Paranoid Android
I guess Barca are trying to deal with the fact that both Puyol and Xavi are unable to play all the time now and the squad is a little light on cover.
