Paranoid Android
I have my ticket for Primavera Sound already and I will certainly get one for Sonar. As yet I don't have any plans to travel away anywhere for a festival.
HateEvent
I'll be at this one at least:I've never played a festival before so getting to play on the main stage on the same day as Evile for my first one will be ace!
The Milner
I have my T tickets already bought, although the line up looks a bit shit, but who goes to a music festival to watch bands? Its all about the coke and whores.
Paranoid Android
is it not a bit early for festivals to have so much of their line up confirmed to the public?

Stroopy121
One called 'Les-Fest' down in Lesmahagow. Did you enjoy the Elgin gig at all? I don't remember. What I remember was ace, I remember eaten by crows and I THINK I remember your set. If what I think was you, was you, then you killed it.WTF is Lesmahagow?xx

Murrr
Desertfest, because the London line-up looks like this so far:-PentagramDozerLowriderKadavarWo-FatConanRamessesPagan AltarBlack Moth+ a few others. It's essentially some kind of stoner/doom fantasy land, but I'm more swayed by the same festival's Berlin leg because fucking Yawning Man and Unida are on the bill.Deciding which to attend will be difficult. Mr Owl PhD
I might go to Field Day - will see who else they get to play. I've been to the last two. Last year it was pretty bad, with awful sound a lot of the time. This year was much better, so hopefully they've figured out how to do it properly. I might go to Green Man too. I've enjoyed the times I've been, even if it does tend to rain a lot.

I saw Wo-Fat at SXSW earlier in the year, they were mighty impressive. That Black Moth album is all kinds of good too, with the riffs and the lassie that sounds like Melissa Auf Der Maur (ok, it's maybe 2 kinds of good but it's still good). I'll probably go. Last year Orange Goblin, Amplifier, Red Fang, Black Tusk, Ufomammut, Colour Haze and Toner Low played so hopefully the TBA acts will be of that calibre. The problem is, I can't decide which to go to. London for convenience or Berlin because it's my favourite place on the planet? Hrmph. Paranoid Android
Last couple of years there's still been tickets left very close to the festival. They do seem to go up in price almost every day though once it gets to april/may.
Old Gold
That is a fucking tremendous lineup. What are the dangers of overlap at Primavera? I don't think I could choose between Nick Cave and MBV if it came to the crunch.
Paranoid Android
Worst thing about festivals, isn't it? There's always going to be some clashes but the schedules have usually worked out quite well for me at Primavera and I haven't had to make any really tough decisions. Last year if you liked the cure you definitely had some clash issues since the cure played forever and seemed to clash with everyone.
