Hippo Posted December 28, 2013 Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 My amps playing up and I might need an engineer te fix it if anybody can recomend one. Its a Peavey Vypyr Tube 120 and its switching on and all the lights flashing etc but when ye hit the standby button it makes a loud booming noise even when a guitars not plugged in. I went on the Peavey forum and a guy told me to change the valves so ive done that but it didnt work. He also told me to change the pre-amp valve which i hadnt but have one on order now.
