Gall_4185
I've been partial to red wine on occassion, especially Chianti Classico and Rijoa's. Surprisingly though,Asda do some rather nice bottles of both
Sturtpot
I would say I'm more of a white fan than red, drinking red at room temperature always makes it seem like its off or something!! I quite like ros because it combines the two. However I've not been in my Bernard Black wine drinking phase for about 6 months.... thought i'd punish my liver with other noxious contaminants
becky
Woolpunda be a fine red... morrisons 5.29 down to 2.99.. try it!
Skull Commander
I used to be a red fan, but lately I have been converted to the pleasures of white as well. Whoever reccomended wolf blass is spot on. On the flipside, south african wine tastes awful to me. Always seems to have a really unpleasant aftertaste. A.Pel
had some spiifing rose the other day.. riveria something.it was actually so fine.. the 3 of us drank a crate. Lucikily, the stuff is like 9% so no probs.I hate wine that tastes like nail varnish remover.
Chris
I'm normally a white wine drinker but have just started on the red. I usually just go for anything that's on offer in sainsbury's for around the 4 though. got a bottle of kumala for tonight (their white is great so i hope the red is). Cloud
My red wine tip is take risks, i found some rather excellent australian stuff a while back from Asda by randomly picking a bottle
Fluffy
i worked for a Laithwaites (mail order wine ppl), they kept giving me free bottles for doing well. I dont like wine though! I have 2 cases of 12 sitting downstairs, my poor mum is going to be an alkie lol!!El Bombero is really populer, so is Il Papavero. too bloody many types of wine out there, and too many are hard to prononce
>>RosS<<
For the financially restricted of you out there, try some Italian Job white for just over three quid from spar. Good stuff....
Hog
Not the biggest fan of Italian wines but yeah, they are good if your on a budget. Also look out for the bargains at the end of the Wine section in Tesco Danestone, Isla Negros (African red) was half price at Xmas time so that meant it was 2.99 per bottle, although, beware the hangover.
