french_disko
From Pitchforkmediahttp://www.pitchforkmedia.com/news/05-03/02.shtml#story3Caribou Extend Spring TourMatt Amis reports:As previously reported in these very pages, the artist formerly known as Manitoba, presently known as Caribou, and legally known as Dan Snaith is getting things together for the release of The Milk of Human Kindness, his third studio LP, and first under the new moniker. The album will be released April 18 via Domino, but several hundred lucky fans got an early taste of Kindness, when Domino (in the U.S.) and the Leaf Label (in other places) released an extremely limited pressing of the one-sided 12-inch "Barnowl".We've also told you that he's heading off on an extensive six-week tour of North America with the Junior Boys and the Russian Futurists beginning late April. So um... what's left to report? Oh right! European dates. It seems the good Snaith is taking a week to tour France, England, and Scotland whilst teaming up with fellow screen-gazing trip-hoppers Boom Bip and Kasule along the way.
